IFRS is commited to raising quality and safety standards in the industry,This has
been reinforced with the start of a programme to bring in an Irish version of the PAS 43 standard. IFRS is working with
the Safety First Consultancy in developing this concept and hopes to make this a recognised standard for all recovery vehicle
operators in Ireland.

IFRS are negotiating
a deal with a leading insurance broker to offer IFRS membersinsurance
services geared to the needs of recovery operators at preferential rates. Through membership of the IFRS companies now
have the opportunity to reduce premiums in most instances. Another key issue which members have expressed concern over is in the area of waste
management and recycling. IFRS has also negotiated an agreement with Maggie Renwick, a leading consultant in this area
to provide members with support and advice at competitive rates.
